Hi again Debs,
Well as far as shipping overseas,we can do.Only thing is we have to get a licence and so would you as the receiver, these licences are not cheap ,AND they only last for ten days.
We are having discussions with defra which is our department for agriculture and rural affairs, to see if this situation can be improved, but i don't hold out much hope .
Incidentaly this ruling applies to eggs and live birds :( .
However rest assured that if and when we can ship you will be the first to know ,and the shipping will be at cost ( as little as we can pay for the best service we can get).Stuart

Deb, If they came from the UK then i would suggest that the problem comes from the x-ray machine which as i understand it is used on all parcels entering the USA.
Another cause may be where they were in the 'plane, when i used to import tropical fish into UK we sometimes had problems with them being put in the hold which was not pressurised. This will have an adverse effect on eggs as well.
Don't blame the eggs or the hatchers, lay the blame firmly at the door of the carrier.

Had a terrible hatch or shall I say non-hatch rate on my posted eggs. 5 1/2 dozen and only one wee one made it, but died 2 days later. I did follow your tips and tricks. Is there anything else you can think of? Oh, and by the way, they were incubated in three different incubators by three different people....so, blaming one incubator isn't the easy option.
